ರಾಷ್ಟೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ ಬಂಡಿಪುರ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿನ ಈ ರಾಷ್ಟೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಡು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಬೇರೆ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಹೊರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗು ಹೊರ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ವನ್ಯ ಮೃಗಗಳ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನುಕೆಲವರು ಅವುಗಳ ಚಲನವನಲಗಳ ಅದ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ದೇಶ-ವಿದೇಶದಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಬಂಡೀಪುರ ರಾಷ್ಟೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದ್ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯೇ ಸರಿ. ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೀರಿಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೊದು ಗರಿ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ.
ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಬಂಡೀಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದಾಗ ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ...

ರಂಗನತಿಟ್ಟು, ಇದು ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಧಾಮ , ಬರ್ಡ್ ಫೋಟೋಗ್ರಫಿ ಮಾಡಲು ರಂಗನತಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬೇಟಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬವೋ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿ ಬೋರು ಹಿಡಿಸೊಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ನೋಡಿ ಆನಂದಿಸಿ.

58 cm. Grey and black stocky bird with black crest. Crepuscular. The loud raucous kwaark call distinctive. Inland waters, estuaries, costal lagoons and backwaters.

18 cm. Large size and prominent pointed crest diagnostic. Sandy semi-desert and cultivated plains.

Red vented Bulbul Pycnonotus cafer R Myna

20 CM. Partially crested black head. Conspicuous crimson patch below root of tail and a white rump, the latter very obvious in flight. Cultivation and scrub.

Plum headed parakeet (male) Psittacula cyanocephala R Myna

Over all 36 cm. Distinguished by bluish red head and maroon shoulder patches. Female has bright yellow collar and lacks maroon patches. White tips to the two central tail feathers diagnostics in flight. Lowlands and hills to c. 1500 m.

WHITE-BROWED WAGTAIL Motacilla maderaspatensis R Bulbul
21 cm. A large black and white wagtail with a prominent white eye brow. Female duller and browner Watercourses, rocky streams, reservoirs and pools. continental and peninsular India. Also called the "Large Pied Wagtail" this Resident bird is found throughout India except some northern parts. Feeds on insects. Runs about near water waging its tail rather than fly.

ಕುಪ್ಪಳಿ. ಕುಪ್ಪಳಿ ಎಂದೊಡನೆ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಹಾಗು ಸುಂದರ ಮಲೆನಾಡ ಸೊಬಗು. ಈ ಕವಿಗಳು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ತಾನೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಹೇಳಿ. ಪದಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಆ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣ್ ಮುಂದಿರುಸಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇರುವುದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು. ಹಾಗು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗರದ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಅವರು ಕೂಡ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವಂತಹ ಕವಿಗಲೊಬ್ಬರು. ಇವರು ಕವಿಗಳು ಅಷ್ಟೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾವನ್ನು ಹೆಗಲೀರಿಸಿ ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತಹ ಪರಿಸರದ ಹಾಗು ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಣ್-ಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುವಂಥ ಚಿತ್ರ ತೆಗೆದು ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿದಂಥಹ ಕವಿ ಮನಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ನಮನಗಳು.
